Background:
St Marys Longnewton Church of England Voluntary (Aided) Primary School is a small village school serving the parishes of Long Newton and Elton. As neighbourhoods school, it welcomes all children whatever the beliefs and practices of their parents may be. The building has recently been updated with a purpose built nursery and a new teaching area for our Reception children. In addition there are 3 teaching areas, an I.C.T. room, a library area, school hall, kitchen (providing excellent meals) and school office. The school benefits from having extremely good resources of books and equipment which children are taught to use confidently by committed teachers. The grounds are spacious with a large field.
