Background:
The school building was opened in December 1975 though many adaptations and improvements have been made since this time including a purpose built reception classroom in 2002. Montalbo caters for children from four years to 11 years of age. Montalbo offers a wide range of activities outside the normal curriculum. The older children enjoy participating in the Buddies Scheme. The school aims to provide a stimulating environment in which to educate the children in the widest possible sense: academically, socially, morally and physically.
