Background:
As a Technology College, the school is able to offer a wide range of enrichment activities connected to student's studies in ICT, technology, mathematics and science. These include regular access to the computer network outside of school hours, master classes and other enrichment activities for example digital photography and use of CAD/CAM equipment. Various extra-curricular activities are offered in sports and art, craft and music. Students are encouraged to develop instrumental skills and peripatetic lessons are available in brass, woodwind and strings. Trips and visits are also arranged including field trips, foreign exchange, holidays and trips to theatre and cinema. The school is frequently involved in charity work and over the years it has raised funds for many charities. The school aims to provide the very best teaching and learning environment in which students can achieve their full potential.
